John's bio
His first book The New Marketing Manifesto (1999) was named in The 10 Best Business Books of 1999 by Books Online.
In the 1990s John was co-founder and head of strategy at the values-led London creative hot shop St Luke's (as featured in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company Magazine, Campaign Agency of the Year). Since then John has advised clients on brands, marketing, sustainability, behaviour change, strategy and innovation.
John's clients have included the BBC, Cafe Direct, Carlsberg, Cisco, Conservation International, Ernst & Young, Fedrigoni, Freshfields, Great Green Wall, The Guardian, HSBC, IBM, IKEA, ING, innocent, Kingfisher, LEGO, Lloyd's of London, Method/Ecover, Microsoft, Natura Cosmetics, O2, Pepsico, Pictet, the Royal Mail, Samsung, Solar Foods, Tech Nation, Trading View, Unilever, Vaisala, Wärtsilä, UK and Swedish governments.
John regularly collaborates on sustainability-related projects with Finnish agency Superson as one of their “specialists”.
